Manager - Chris Tremie
Chris Tremie, 38, is promoted to Kinston after managing Low A Lake County in 2007. Last year, in just his 2nd season as a Manager, Tremie led the Captains to a 64-74 record. In 2006, Tremie managed the Gulf Coast Indians, finishing with a record of 21-29. A 39th round selection of the Chicago White Sox in the 1992 draft, Tremie played professionally for 14 seasons in six different organizations (Chicago-AL, Philadelphia, Texas, Pittsburgh, Florida, Houston). Tremie made his major league debut with the White Sox in 1995, playing in 22 games in the majors. Tremie attended the University of Houston where he played baseball and holds a degree in Kineisiology.

Pitching Coach - Greg Hibbard
Greg Hibbard will serve as Tremie’s Pitching Coach this year after spending the 2007 season as the pitching coach of the Double A Akron Aeros. Hibbard spent 2006 in Triple A Buffalo. As a part of Torey Lovullo’s Kinston staff in 2004, Hibbard led K-Tribe pitchers to a 3.73 ERA and the Carolina League Championship. This is Hibbard’s sixth season as a pitching coach in the Cleveland Indians farm system.

Hitting Coach - Jon Nunnally
Jon Nunnally, 35, was a Carolina League All-Star for the K-Tribe in 1994. The outfielder hit .267 with 22 home runs and 74 RBI in 1994, leading the K-Tribe in batting average, at bats, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, rbi and walks. Nunnally was picked up by the Kansas City Royals in the 1994 Rule V draft. He enjoyed a six year Major League Career with Kansas City, Cincinnati, Boston and the New York Mets; hitting .246 in 1048 games. Nunnally was the hitting coach for Cleveland’s Appalachian League Rookie Team, the Burlington Indians, in 2006.

Trainer - Chad Wolfe
Chad Wolfe will be in his fifth year as a trainer with-in the Cleveland Organization. Wolfe was a training intern with the Kinston Indians in 2003 while completing his Masters from East Carolina University. He spent the 2006 season with the Lake County Captains before moving up to Kinston in 2007.

Strength & Conditioning Coach - Nelson A. Perez
Perez begins his first season as strength and conditioning coach for the Kinston Indians. He began his career in the Cleveland Indians organization last year as the strength and conditioning coach for Low A Lake County. Before joining the Indians, Perez worked four years with a minor league baseball team in Puerto Rico. Perez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce campus with a B.A. in Athletic Training. Perez is certified with the NSCA as a strength and conditioning specialist. In the off season, Perez lives with his wife and son in Aguada, Puerto Rico.
